I remember when my brother & I stayed at Grandma’s house in Carlisle. After everyone had gone to bed we would lay on the “hide-away” bed watching black & white TV. At midnight, the test pattern came on and the National Anthem played. It was time to turn off the TV and the lights…the party was over. In the late 1940’s until the early 1970’s television stations used the test pattern.
According to Google, the test pattern was for engineers to adjust the equipment and television sets. Today, television is on 24 hours a day. We can pre-record, pause, and even watch on our computers and phones. But where are the test patterns?
How do we calculate what we see? What is your test pattern?
Have you noticed the world culture is broadcasting a different and shifting test pattern? The lines that once were straight up & down are now squiggles, curved and even sideways. If you disagree and don’t conform, you are called dogmatic, out-of-touch and will be cancelled.
Good News…there is still an unchanging pattern. It’s available 24 hours a day. It can be obtained anywhere in the world. And it’s in many languages. It can be found in print and digital form. It’s the Bible, God’s Word. We know from 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
This pattern is a threat to the world and its ways. This is why you will hear people say there are errors & contradictions in the Bible. This is why there are elite people claiming they have the authority to change or re-word His Word. But know this, only an author has the authority to edit or change the meaning of any book. So far, the author, God has remained silent.
Don’t fall for cheap imitations or be influenced by opinions. Get calibrated today in the Truth. Dust off your old Bible. Find a Bible teaching church. Enroll in a Bible study that will only teaches from God’s Word. I highly recommend, Bible Study Fellowship.

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 2:12-14
