When I think on Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God” this is my imagery. It is the security & peace that only comes from being in my Heavenly Father’s lap. We overcomplicate & overthink the most precious part of life. All His Promises…all His Ways…everything leads to this.

“…He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” 2 Peter 1:4

It is here that David may have written, “Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings” Psalm 17:8

This is how He wants me to start & end my day…in His lap. We live in an anxious & messed up world but as one of His children we can rest in peace knowing, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:28-30

Let the words of Jesus whisper over your heart, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
