Have you given up on someone? Maybe it’s a friend, a family member, your boss, or co-worker that are so set in their ways. Some have given up on the church while others have given up on government and the political process. Today so many people are feeling disenchanted & frustrated. Good News, this is …
You overslept because you stayed up too late…the dog got out of the fence and you chased it through the neighborhood…you finally got in the shower, got dressed, had an argument about finances with your spouse as you rush out the door and finally you are sitting in the quiet solitude of your car. “I’m going to be gone this weekend. I’ve got to get ready for the hunt!” Growing up in Arkansas, I heard this phrase all my life. So, when my friend said this the other day, I knew he was a serious deer hunter. Getting ready for the hunt is nothing more than work & money! …

From underwear to socks, shoes/boots, uniforms, hats…everything we needed. And it all got stuffed …
It was a week or so after we had planted the soybean field that I noticed the tire tracks across the field. The new bean sprouts had burst through the soil…except where I had driven across the newly planted field. Yep, those seeds never came up. When I drove across the field I thought, “What …
It’s been many years, but I still remember the twinkle in my dad’s eyes this time of year. “It’s Plantin’ Time!” The cold of winter was over…spring brought purpose. Spring brought new life. All that life-purpose took place in the field. My dad loved working (preparing for planting) the soil. He loved the smell when …
