Every Sunday morning as we walk into our Sunday School Classroom, we are Blessed with a profound phrase written on the whiteboard. They are incredibly timely and direct. Sometimes it connects with our lesson, sometimes it connects to the Pastor’s message, but every time, it connects. My dear friend, Jason, writes the whispers, or ideas, he receives from God.

Last week we were Blessed as a young woman from our church shared how God’s miraculous hand moved through a medical ordeal. She told us how God moved people, and situations into place before, during and after her surgery. She pointed out details only God could perform. It was a powerful testimony of trusting God. As she finished her presentation someone pointed out Jason’s message on the whiteboard, “Not telling others what Jesus has done for you is like hanging curtains in a lighthouse.” Jesus said it this way, “No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.” Luke 8:16.

Sometimes God’s gifts are wrapped in difficult & stormy times. But when we choose to focus on Jesus, to trust Him in such a way that people see Jesus through us, we become that light in the darkness. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” It’s all about Jesus. It’s all about pointing to God’s Glory. He told us in John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Sharing how God has worked in your life is a story about Him. If you are Blessed to have a part, that’s great but He is the Author, Producer, Director, and subject of the story. “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6

Is your light shining in this dark world? He is the only source that has unending and “FULL” Power.
