One of the unique ways God designed His creation was through His unique relationships & balances. Plants must have carbon dioxide to live while animals must have oxygen to live. Only God would design a system that required co-dependence. Plants take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen and animals take in oxygen and give off carbon dioxide. This process is called photosynthesis. “Plants and algae perform convert atmospheric carbon dioxide and water to sugar using the energy from the sun.” “Plants take in carbon dioxide from the air and convert it into glucose through the process of photosynthesis, which is powered by sunlight.” Google

The other function of air is for the plant to breath. “Plants breathe in and out through tiny pores in their leaves and roots called stomata, which is Greek for “mouths”. These pores open and close to allow gases to move in and out of the plant through a process called diffusion.” Google

The Law of the Farm leaves us with one unavoidable truth, “For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So, they have no excuse for not knowing God.” Rom 1:20

We know from God’s Word, Genesis 2:7, “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Now pay attention to something you may have overlooked. From 2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” BAM!

Like the plant that takes in carbon dioxide, transforms it into food, and gives off oxygen, God wants to transform our lives so that we may live with Him in eternity. Jesus tells us how in John 3:3, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” There can be no imitations or substitutes of carbon dioxide & oxygen with plants & animals and there is no other way to be with God. Jesus told us in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” God spoke to us through Paul in Romans 10:9, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” And then Jesus gave us the example of how we can have the power to live as a lifelong follower, “Then he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 20:22
