As a child I remember hearing this on the Hallmark Card TV specials. When you think about it, this is exactly what our Heavenly Father did. From John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”

This gift of eternal life came at a very heavy price. Jesus, the King of Kings, our Savior, chose to allow Himself to be unfairly arrested, tried, tortured, mocked and crucified to an excruciating death (see John 18 & 19) for you and me. From scripture we know:

• Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
• Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life In Christ Jesus our Lord.”
• 1 Peter 2:24 “who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree (the Cross), that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”

Everything changed at the Cross of Jesus. Only Jesus has the Power & Authority to transform your life, your situation…Your future. Jesus said in John 10:10 “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Only Jesus provides the CONFIDENCE for eternity. He is the “No-Matter-What” Hope. He is right where you are. It starts with, “Jesus, I need you…”
